About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Operations Manager to join our team at Community Housing Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our housing operations across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance and control framework to ensure consistent, efficient, and effective standards across all housing operations.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of effective partnerships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality services to customers.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
  • Manage national operational and strategic risks in response to our risk management plan.
  • Ensure operational policies are reviewed and updated as required.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management and the board on company performance and operations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in social science, social work, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate others to deliver strategic objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the community and public housing sector, including a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • High-level strategic thinking, including facilitating various perspectives, risk assessments, and developing solutions for long-term sustainability.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • The ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders critical to ensuring our objectives.
  • A commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing.
