Job Opportunity: Expert Heavy Vehicle Training Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our team in Sydney.

About the Role:

The Driver Trainer/Assessor will support our NSW Boral Concrete business by planning and delivering training activities that promote Agitator driver theoretical and applied driving and operational skills.

You will communicate directly with drivers, operational staff, and management to determine training needs, aiming to develop and maintain a skilled and competent workforce within the business.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting certificate level on and off-the-job technical and knowledge-based training and assessment to meet Boral RTO and regulatory requirements.
  • Recording training events and uploading evidence to Boral's Learning Management System.
  • Referring to verification of evidence, developing, recording in Learning Management System, and issuing Induction, Competency, and VoC wallet cards for workers.
  • Facilitating and supporting line managers with training needs and the development of their people, communicating progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Completing administration functions in the sign-up process for employees commencing a certificate level training program and completing all training and assessment documentation.
  • In conjunction with Learners, reviewing the Trainer/Learner responsibilities throughout the training program and providing ongoing monitoring and feedback.
  • Assisting in the development, review, and updating of Training Materials, SOPs, and SWMS.
  • Recommending solutions to improve training and/or training materials when gaps are identified.

What We're Looking For:

  • Cert IV Trainer and Assessor (or completion of the qualification as soon as possible if not already qualified).
