We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Training Specialist to support our NSW Boral Concrete business. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining a skilled and competent workforce within the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for Agitator drivers, focusing on theoretical and applied driving and operational skills
  • Collaborating with drivers, operational staff, and management to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Recording training events and uploading evidence to Boral's Learning Management System
  • Issuing certificates and wallet cards for workers, verifying their competence and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting line managers in identifying training gaps and developing strategies to address them
  • Reviewing and updating training materials, SOPs, and SWMS to ensure they remain effective and relevant

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Cert IV Trainer and Assessor qualification (or completion pending)
  • A valid driver's licence (HR minimum)
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle training and assessing
  • Strong knowledge of Road Rules and heavy vehicle national law requirements
  • Ability to travel within NSW to deliver training and assessment requirements for Boral operations
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts as required
