Job Opportunity: Director Pathway Support

The Administrative Review Tribunal plays a pivotal role in the Australian legal landscape, providing an independent review process for individuals and organisations to challenge decisions made under various Commonwealth laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the management of applications for review during the case management phase, including collaboration with senior leadership and operational directors to achieve the Tribunal's objectives.
  • Overseeing the delivery of case management strategies and initiatives, such as the caseload strategy and priority framework, ensuring timely progression of cases to finalisation or readiness for allocation to a member for hearing.

This critical role requires strong leadership skills, ability to manage change, identify opportunities for improvement, and promote a positive approach to uncertainty and ambiguity.

Excellent communication skills are essential, including clear communication of complex information, making persuasive recommendations, and adapting to different audiences' needs.

Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position. All employees must undergo an Australian Federal Police Check and Health Assessment.

This role involves delivering results, leading complex projects, developing creative solutions, and managing risks effectively. Establishing productive relationships with stakeholders, collaborating to achieve outcomes, and negotiating successfully are also key responsibilities.
