About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team at GFG-Alliance. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering continuous improvement and innovation in our procurement processes.

Job Description
  • Collaborate with Category Excellence Managers and Category Managers to provide analytical support across various procurement areas, including spend diagnostics, report development, data analytics, market insights, and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Analyse historical and forecast spend data to draw insights and make strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to risk analysis across different levels in procurement and supply chain.
  • Develop new tools and reporting aimed at utilising predictive data analytics and insights.
  • Highlight opportunities for cost savings through data analytics, teardowns, and cross-functional specification analysis.
  • Support current and future market engagement activities through data interrogation.
  • Identify and develop self-serve reporting tools for category teams, such as supplier balanced scorecards.
  • Create dashboards requiring minimal manual intervention.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance.
  • Proficiency in pulling data feeds from ERP systems like SAP and JDE.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for creating dashboards.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to utilise it effectively.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Access.
  • SAP Signavio - desirable.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent researching and problem-solving skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
