About the Role

Our luxurious resort on a tropical island paradise offers an exciting opportunity to join our culinary team as a Chef de Cuisine. You will oversee conference, events, and bespoke dining operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation while meeting hotel standards and revenue targets.

This is a dynamic role that requires you to manage daily kitchen activities, plan and assign work, and set performance goals for your team members. As a leader in the kitchen, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of service delivery and exceeding guest expectations.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a degree or certification in culinary arts and at least 2 years of experience as a chef, including one year in a supervisory role. Alternatively, you may have an equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience.

You should also have experience in banquets, conferencing, events, private, and bespoke dining, as well as up-to-date food safety certification.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional, and able to deliver excellent service while exceeding guest expectations. They will be highly organized, able to multitask, and have strong communication skills.
