Job Title: Health Contact Centre Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinician to join our health contact centre team. As a Health Contact Centre Clinician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and referrers via telephone, email, fax and mail.

  • You will identify and implement an outcome to the satisfaction of the referrer or client.
  • You will complete encounter requirements.
  • You will develop knowledge of targeted Intake and Admission service streams.

The role requires a customer-focused approach to service delivery, with the ability to move from one service request type to another. The position will be located in the health contact centre at Macquarie Hospital, North Ryde, with potential to work from satellite centres under agreed conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • AHPRA Division 1 Nurses Registration.
  • Highly developed active listening, conflict management and negotiation skills.
  • High level of critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Primary and Community Care service sector, General Practice, community care sector, and Acute and Sub acute care environments.
