Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Culinary Professional to join our team as a Chef de Partie.

This is a full-time role that requires a qualified Chef with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

Experience in a similar role, in luxury hotels or high-end dining environments, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and as part of a collaborative kitchen team.

They will also possess the ability to work across rotating rosters including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian working rights) is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and execute à la carte dishes to order for in-room dining, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet luxury standards.
  • Maintain high levels of efficiency to deliver timely room service orders, especially during peak periods.
  • Monitor and manage mise en place for In-Room Dining throughout all meal periods – breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night.
  • Uphold HACCP and food safety standards in all preparation and service areas.
  • Liaise closely with IRD service team to ensure special requests and dietary needs are met seamlessly.
  • Ensure accuracy in portioning, plating, and garnishing across varied menus.
  • Replenish stock and support ordering needs specific to In-Room Dining pantry and satellite kitchens.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the In-Room Dining kitchen zone at all times.
  • Assist in creating and testing new in-room dining menu items in collaboration with senior chefs.
  • Guide and support junior team members in daily operations, acting as a role model of professionalism and pace.
Qualifications:
  • Full-time role.
  • Qualified Chef with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a similar role, in luxury hotels or high-end dining environments.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a collaborative kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work across rotating rosters including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Eligible to work in Australia (Australian working rights).
