Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our organization in Perth, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality workplace relations advice, solutions, policies, processes and systems that align with the business goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing proactive ER support and management of cases across a range of ER issues;
  • Developing strategies to address employee relations matters, including mediation, workplace investigations and disciplinary processes;
  • Conducting complex workplace investigations and providing oversight and guidance to others;
  • Reviewing and interpreting complex notices of dispute, legal issues or complaint submitted by staff, the union or other paid agents;
  • Formulating professional responses to address the issue in question while managing risk.

To succeed in this role, you will have postgraduate qualifications in industrial relations, human resource, employment law or related discipline and extensive relevant experience in managing complex employee and industrial relations matters, case management, and policy development, implementation and review. You will also have sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and contract law.
