Industrial Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage industrial relations matters, provide expert advice, and facilitate negotiations with unions and employee representatives.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an IR specialist to contribute to our client's success. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications, strong knowledge of industrial relations legislation, and experience in managing workplace disputes and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage industrial relations matters in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies
  • Provide expert advice on industrial awards, agreements, and workplace policies
  • Facilitate negotiations and consultations with unions and employee representatives
  • Conduct investigations and resolve workplace disputes effectively
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise industrial relations risks
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work and other regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for senior management

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of industrial relations legislation and best practices
  • Experience managing workplace disputes and negotiations effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate reports
