Workday Configuration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Workday Configuration Specialist to lead initiatives in configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with our Workday suite.

  • The selected candidate will partner with senior leads on business requirements to optimize Workday processes and user experiences.
  • They will design, configure, and support critical functional areas of Time, Absence, Advance Compensation, and other core areas.
  • This role involves managing setup, configuration, data, and structures within Workday to drive efficiencies and analytics.
  • The Workday Configuration Specialist will also own semi-annual regression testing and review of optional features.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring systems quality and data accuracy through regular audits.
  • This role requires developing and sharing complex custom reports and calculated fields.
  • The successful candidate will efficiently resolve Tier 2 Workday related inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Workday HRIS (Core HCM, Absence, On-boarding, Advanced Compensation, and security).
  • Proven success in project management and process improvement.
  • Able to work in a global or multi-brand entity and navigate complexity.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR data management and complex reporting writing skills.
  • Solid knowledge of creating advanced custom reports, monitoring, scheduling, troubleshooting integrations, and data imports leveraging EIBs.
