Position Overview:

The Customer Experience Consultant plays a vital role in enhancing the customer journey by proactively addressing concerns, cultivating strong client relationships, and proposing beneficial solutions for both Damco and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison for clients, ensuring seamless management of the entire shipment process by coordinating with both customers and internal teams.
  • Analyze external factors that may affect the client's supply chain, understanding their urgency, service requirements, and expectations.
  • Set clear expectations with clients from the outset and provide tailored solutions.
  • Take full ownership of customer satisfaction across all of Damco's service offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling logistics and service products.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee shipment order consolidation planning.
  • Proactively monitor shipments and inform clients of any significant changes to the transport plan, along with potential solutions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond for clients, focusing on delivering effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred background in shipping, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal relations.
  • Highly organized, energetic, and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good understanding of processes and digital tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain quality under pressure.
  • Cost-conscious mindset with a focus on optimization.
  • Open to fresh graduates.
