Human Resources Leader

As a key member of our Pacific National team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. Reporting to [Senior Manager P&C], this exciting opportunity will see you leverage your expertise in Human Resources and People & Culture to drive strategic objectives.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workforce experience.
- Provide expert guidance on ER/IR matters, risk rating, and mitigation strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Drive the implementation and delivery of the People & Culture strategy across the Bulk business, fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and high performance.
- Manage disputes, grievances, union relationship issues, and FWA matters with precision and support from the Senior Manager P&C and/or legal team as required.
- Conduct thorough job evaluations, making recommendations to business stakeholders on remuneration levels and role classification.
- Promote organisational succession planning processes, identifying talent risks and opportunities through talent reviews and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving cultural change through innovative employee engagement initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources / People & Culture professional with relevant work history within an industrial/blue collar environment. You will possess highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Candidates will have:
- Prior experience in logistics infrastructure or similar environments (desired).
- The ability to manage multiple tasks within fast-paced, multi-focused work environments.
- Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- The capacity to act with discretion and demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- A demonstrated ability to build effective and trusting business relationships.
