About the Role
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering tailored domestic supports within a customer's residence;
- Collaborating with customers and their support networks to develop person-centred plans that promote independence and growth;
- Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are implemented effectively;
- Managing administrative duties and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships;
- Prior experience supporting customers with complex needs is desirable;
- Familiarity with manual handling and medication administration procedures is advantageous;
- A Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (or willingness to obtain);
- Proven administration and computer literacy skills;
- A Valid Driver's Licence and willingness to use your private vehicle;
- Certificate of Vaccination against COVID-19 and Police Clearance.
