About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.

  • Provide exceptional standard of evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused positive behaviour support to caseload of OCA participants in community settings
  • Support mentorship that optimises individual potential and enhances the team's ability to thrive as practitioners while working collaboratively with leaders to improve service quality
  • Promote ongoing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery by identifying, providing input and implementing solutions
  • E nsure a workplace that is safe, healthy and respectful, along with contributing to growing a culture of being a fun, people-focused and stimulating place to work

About You

  • Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Significant experience in the provision of positive behaviour support as recognised by the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
  • Demonstration of alignment to deliver evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused supports which enable participants and their significant others to live their best lives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication (written and verbal), influencing, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • A strong commitment to teamwork and continuing professional development
  • Flawless writing skills
  • A current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
