Business Intelligence Specialist Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Business Intelligence Specialist in the NSW Department of Education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting current and future state analysis to document requirements, processes, and procedures. Your primary focus will be on supporting the delivery of the new selective education placement test framework and the delivery of computer-based placement tests in schools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of business processes, stakeholder engagement, and digital transformation. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Your ability to analyze complex information and turn it into actionable insights will be highly valued.

The role involves working closely with various teams to deliver practical, user-centered solutions. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG. Additionally, you will require a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance number.

The salary package includes a base salary ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Other benefits include a 35 hour working week, flexible working arrangements, flex leave entitlements, generous holidays and leave conditions, competitive salary sacrificing, and opportunities for advancement and mobility across the Department.
