The Role

  • Drafting design and construction briefs, overseeing the tender process to select external suppliers, contractors, and consultant teams.
  • Monitoring, managing, and reporting on planning and authority approval processes and project feasibility.
  • Managing project delivery, including financial performance, reporting, budgeting, risk assessment, monthly reviews, and cash flow.
  • Managing contracts, obtaining approvals, and administering aspects of the sales and marketing process.
  • Monitoring marketing and competitor activity to inform decision-making on project direction and performance.
  • Driving engagement with key stakeholders to ensure support for the Project Vision and agreed outcomes.
  • Collaborating with a high-performance development team.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in a Development Management role within the land sector.
  • Ability to run and organize interactions with the council.
  • Strong time management skills to oversee multiple projects.
  • A network of consultants to assist with project organization.
  • Highly developed communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial acumen, knowledge of the tender and procurement process, and understanding of the development/construction industry.
