Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Structural Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise to junior members, managing clients, preparing fee proposals, and tender documentation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Become a technical focal point and provide technical guidance for the structural team.
  • Apply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions.
  • Liaise with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutions.
  • Manage clients, prepare fee proposals, and tender documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior members of the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural design.
  • In-depth experience in structural engineering design and already obtained Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent.
  • Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Willingness to contribute to technical guidance of junior members through mentoring and checking of technical documentation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clients.
