About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Disabled Care professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized support to clients living with disabilities or high needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
- Accompany and support clients' daily living needs, including mobility assistance and social engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports, and work collaboratively with clinical staff and families.
- Promote independence, dignity, and client choice at all times.
Requirements:
- Relevant Certificate III in Individual Support or related field.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in an accredited residential care or disability care program.
- Current First Aid, Manual Handling training, and NDIS Worker Screening certificates.
- Sound knowledge of NDIS and person-centred practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
