Job Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious legal professional to join our Employment Relations team.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of employment, discrimination, and industrial relations matters across various sectors.

  • A minimum of 2-4 years post-admission legal experience working on employment and industrial relations matters is required.
  • Experience in litigation in a variety of courts or tribunals is necessary, ideally the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Court of Australia.
  • Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits are essential.
  • Good writing skills to provide concise and commercial advice to clients are required.
  • Knowledge of employment law and discrimination law obtained through either academic study or practical experience is a must.
  • The ability to effectively manage your own time, work autonomously, and at times work to tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Excellent attention to detail is expected.
  • A team player mentality with a supportive and collaborative working style is preferred.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Post-admission legal experience of 2-4 years in employment and industrial relations matters.
