Job Opportunity

We have a fixed-term opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Product and Distribution team. The role will focus on supporting the development and maintenance of insurance portfolio risk management and product governance frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with industry experts, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. They will also consider existing regulatory requirements, provide strategic advice, and engage with stakeholders on product monitoring and action plans.

This is a hybrid role based in Eight Mile Plains, requiring full-time commitment. There is a genuine possibility of extension beyond the initial 9-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with industry experts and stakeholders.
  • Consider existing regulatory requirements and provide strategic advice on impacts and key considerations.
  • Implement and adhere to Operational and Compliance Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Engage and report to stakeholders on product monitoring and action plans.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a product environment, across either insurance or other financial services industry.
  • At least five to seven years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage in complex environments and translate key elements for clear commercial decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including influential stakeholder engagement.
