Heavy Air Lift System Governance Manager

This pivotal role ensures the overarching resources, systems, frameworks, and processes are in place and within the regulatory framework to deliver agreed outcomes.

You will draw on teams across a complex matrix of stakeholders from Defence and Industry at all levels to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires:

  • To recommend, communicate, and provide intelligent analysis driving empirical decision making
  • To facilitate and coordinate value-adding reporting on the health and state of the Governance Management framework and supporting systems
  • To shape, influence, and drive compliance and initiate remedial actions on behalf of HALSPO and its Enterprise partners

The Heavy Air Lift Systems Program Office provides sustainment support for four products including the C-17A Globemaster III and KC-30A Multi Role Tanker Transport.

These fleets form the backbone of the Strategic Air Mobility capability within Defence, used for humanitarian support to high-end operations.

This position is located at RAAF Base Amberley.

The Governance Manager works within the Business Management Unit, leading, facilitating, and coordinating strategic governance across the HALSPO enterprise.
