Job Description:

A seasoned project leader is needed to spearhead continuous improvement projects in IT and GRC. The ideal candidate will oversee steering committees, project plans, and collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather insights and metrics.

This role involves managing IT projects, steering committee meetings, developing relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring project objectives are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic project management support to IT GRC initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects, leading all phases to ensure timely and within-scope delivery, coordinating teams and vendors.
  • Lead project planning, including schedules, charters, and status reports.
  • Develop and track comprehensive project plans with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities, milestones, and responsibilities across workstreams.
  • Monitor dependencies, report on project health, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate issues to leadership and provide regular status updates.
  • Manage project scope, communication, and meetings effectively.
  • Prepare and present project updates to leadership and manage steering committee presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business, or related field.
  • 3+ years in IT project management.
  • Familiarity with IT controls, SOX, audit methodologies, and IT concepts.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Soft skills: proactive, strategic, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Certifications like CISA, CISM, CIA, CPA are advantageous.
