Charterhouse is seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Officer to join our team. As a Contract Support Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the delivery of works and services through contractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess incoming jobs, create work orders, and allocate them to contractors.
- Coordinate scoping and quotation processes for jobs as required.
- Review and prepare contract payment claims and invoices for internal approval.
- Assist in the evaluation of contractor performance and progress cost adjustments and variation claims.
- Apply time management principles to minimize the risk of poor outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections for safety, environment, community, and quality parameters.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science, and/or relevant experience.
- Previous experience with managing the delivery of works through contractors, and/or with the types of civil maintenance and services work being delivered.
- Ability to work across multiple tasks with attention to detail to achieve deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communications skills, including listening and interpretation.
- Ability to form strong, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Computer literacy in the application of software packages used in the Business.
