As a growing enterprise with expanding service offerings, the Financial Planning role is a newly created position to help support the business through this growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial management of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (including around grants and funding).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow and develop strategies to optimise financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with organisational goals.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor a small finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work with auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong expertise in financial management within the not-for-profit industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with financial systems and software.
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial insights effectively.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
