The AH-64E Apache helicopter is the pinnacle of attack aircraft technology, boasting cutting-edge features that enhance crew decision-making and operational effectiveness.
We are seeking an experienced Flight Scheduling Specialist to support the AH-64E Apache program, ensuring seamless coordination of aircrew training, flight planning, and administrative activities.
This role is based in Townsville, working closely with Defence Australia personnel. We require self-motivated professionals with scheduling expertise who can excel in a dynamic environment.
As a Flight Scheduling Specialist at Boeing, you will:
- Coordinate planning, scheduling, and task execution for Flight and Simulator Device training activities, including asset booking and simulator device allocation.
- Support event changes, conducting schedule risk assessments and developing alternative plans as needed.
- Provide administrative support to Course Managers, adhering to AAvnTC Standard Operating Procedures and policy guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in transport, logistics, rostering, or operations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Able to prioritise tasks, think critically, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling systems and MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative mindset and customer-service focus, with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Defence training reporting requirements and compliance standards.
Please note: Australian citizenship is required to meet Defence security clearances.
