Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program in Townsville. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for handling, storing and distributing Defence aviation materiel while ensuring compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
  • Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel
  • Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy's
  • Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
  • Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
  • Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that arise

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
  • A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of warehousing principles
  • A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
