Flight Scheduler

The Flight Scheduler role is a vital support position in the aviation industry.

This position involves scheduling and coordinating tasks related to aircrew training, flight planning, and simulator usage.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective task management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate flight and simulator device training activities, including asset booking and live flight scheduling.
  • Support re-scheduling efforts for training event changes, assess schedule risks, and provide reporting documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to Course Managers for training initiation and completion.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in transport/logistics or operations.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, think quickly, and make pragmatic decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with scheduling/roster systems and MS Office suite.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in aviation operations or crew rostering.
  • Knowledge of specialised scheduling software or ERP systems.
  • Relevant qualifications or clearances for defence/aviation roles.
