Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Application Architect to join our team. This is a long-term contractual position that will involve designing, implementing, and evolving the application environment in an organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a key role in designing and developing complex, responsive web applications on digital platforms. They will also support architecture designs by contributing to design decisions, evaluating technology options, and ensuring alignment with architecture principles and roadmap.

Key responsibilities will include working with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, UX/UI designers, Business Analysts, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The candidate will also conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes to validate proposed solutions, review API mapping to connect enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and digital applications, and provide technical direction and development support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in low-code development (Outsystems preferred) for web and mobile applications, including integration with enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and team management.
  • Strong experience in detail design and API mapping for digital applications.
  • Understanding of human-centered design principles and experience applying them in web development.
  • Proficient in REST APIs, knowledge of API Gateway and API management.
  • Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and pipeline management.
  • Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience designing scalable and high-availability solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platform.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience in performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.

Others

This is a contract position, and the successful candidate will work in a hybrid model of 50/50 in the office. The tentative start date is July 14th, 2025, and the contract duration is 02 years (12 months initially + 12 months extension). The location will be Sydney and Melbourne.
