Personal Care Assistant Job

This is a rewarding career opportunity to support our residents in living their best life. We are currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time, Full Time and Casual basis at our Aged Care Facilities in Rockhampton.

Our Aged Care Facilities provide a supportive environment where residents can engage in activities of their choice. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a friendly home environment and ensuring the safe and appropriate use of equipment.

  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable living space for residents
  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasks such as showering and continence care
  • Actively monitoring residents' condition and reporting any changes to the Registered Nurse
Key Responsibilities:

Support Residents' Daily Needs: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the safety and comfort of residents by using equipment safely and effectively.

Monitor Residents' Condition: Actively monitor residents' condition and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Studying or completed a Cert III or higher qualification related to Aged Care or Disability or similar qualification.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
