We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care services to our residents, supporting them to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing mobility assistance, including walking with residents or propelling their wheelchairs
- Assisting with meal delivery and removal of dishes/meal trays
- Supervising residents in memory support units
- Stocking individual continence bags for residents
- Applying moisturizing skin creams
- Assisting residents with glasses, hearing aids, and other equipment
- Cleaning resident rooms and performing laundry duties
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families/visitors
- Accompanying residents to activities and facilitating engagement in their interests
Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) - Mandatory
- Unlimited working rights in Australia - Mandatory
- Experience in hospitality or customer service in fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy
- Familiarity with resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes - highly regarded but not essential
