Fund Reporting Analyst

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Fund Reporting Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As a Fund Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and accuracy in our reporting and client servicing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality client reports using data from various sources to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Review and investigate daily Unit Prices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage proxy voting and corporate actions, ensuring timely lodgement.
  • Reconcile end-of-day trades with IRESS and distribute trade files to relevant parties.
  • Calculate management fees for funds and mandates.
  • Assist with Distribution calculations (1/2 year/full year).
  • Provide audit oversight for fund accounts.
  • Engage with the custodian to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, websites, and systems.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports and analysis for internal teams.
  • Manage research reviews, liaising with Operations and Investment teams.
  • Run pre/post trade compliance reports.
  • Support the team with operational tasks and act as a backup for Registry, performance, and accounting functions.
  • Perform morning reconciliations to ensure trades are correctly reflected in IMS valuations.
Requirements:
  • Over 3 years' experience in a similar fund reporting/fund oversight role, preferably from an Asset Manager, Custodian, or Fund Services provider.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Desire to exceed expectations and ambition to progress within the firm.
  • Proven prioritizing, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven change management and process improvement capability.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and champion change.
  • Professional communication skills for effective communication across different levels of the organization.
