Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily stock issues, overseeing supply chains, and ensuring continuous production flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage daily stock issues to meet business growth forecasts.
  • Actively oversee the supply of raw materials, balancing internal warehouse needs and relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Manage the logistics of finished products and spare parts across Australia, Europe, and the USA.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of in-plant material flow and its impact on line/ERP systems.
  • Analyze and mitigate supplier risks, implement dual sourcing strategies, and expand the supplier base.
  • Drive improvements in inventory and supply chain procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Serve as an advisory member of the product development team, sourcing materials and providing insights on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards; collaborate with other departments to qualify new suppliers.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to achieve ISO 13485 compliance, focusing on supplier control and material controls.
  • Exercise purchasing authority within company policy.
  • Review and authorize site-level Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Set Kanban levels and re-order quantities.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Meet targets for supplier delivery, quality, inventory, and cost.
  • Maintain ISO 13485 compliance.
  • Review and authorize site-level SOPs.
  • Achieve project milestones.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering and technical background in complex manufacturing.
