About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic team at Danone in Melbourne. This is a 12-month permanent opportunity to cover an internal secondment, reporting to the Customer Collaboration Manager.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will work closely with one of our key retailers, ensuring Danone stocks are always available and updated. Your responsibilities will include order replenishment, communication, forecasting, data integrity, and supply chain project support.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage stock replenishment/order placement and inventory balance across the customer's network.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders are informed of Supply Chain changes that may influence service levels and stock availability in Distribution Centers and stores.
- Facilitate alignment between Danone's commercial and supply teams to build demand, forecast, and manage appropriate inventory.
- Conduct regular business planning and collaboration meetings to keep stakeholders informed about significant strategies for enhancing service, managing inventory, and increasing efficiency.
- Drive planning and execution of new products, promotional activities, and discontinued items while maintaining service and appropriate inventory.
About You
You are a self-motivated and experienced planner with exposure to a fast-moving manufacturing environment. You will enjoy working towards results, love dealing with different people daily, and can handle ambiguity and shifting priorities.
