Strategic Leader for Vocational Education

The Victorian TAFE Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the future of vocational education in Victoria. As CEO, you will play a key role in shaping the sector's agenda and influencing policy decisions that impact the lives of thousands of students and educators.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the interests of the public TAFE sector in Victoria
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, industry, and community leaders
  • Lead advocacy efforts to secure funding and resources for the sector
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team to deliver programs and services that meet the needs of members
Requirements:
  • Senior executive experience in a public, advocacy, or member-based setting
  • Proven track record of success in government relations, policy influence, or VET sector leadership
  • Strong understanding of the vocational education sector and its complexities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
