Senior Credit Policy Specialist

Develop and maintain a comprehensive credit policy framework, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and evolving portfolio dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end credit policy process, driving strategy and tactical initiatives to optimize credit performance.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and documentation of credit policies.
- Lead credit policy reviews and updates based on credit performance, macroeconomic indicators, and operational feedback.
Collections Strategy Development:
- Design and implement targeted collections strategies to enhance performance across early and late-stage arrears.
- Analyze collections KPIs and iterate on strategies to improve cure rates, reduce roll rates, and minimize loss.
Credit Analytics and Insights:
- Deliver actionable insights on delinquency trends, arrears drivers, and risk concentrations through advanced credit performance analytics.
- Manage and mentor the Credit Analyst to support accurate reporting, ad hoc analysis, and ongoing model and trend tracking.
Reporting and Governance:
- Prepare high-quality, detailed credit performance reports for presentation to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Support meetings with warehouse funders, rating agencies, and other external parties by providing analytical input and credit policy commentary.
