Insurance Portfolio Manager

Relevant to managing complex insurance portfolios and enterprise risk, this role will provide strong support to our Audit, Safety and Risk team.
About the OpportunityThis permanent position offers a unique blend of responsibilities, combining insurance portfolio management with the development and implementation of an integrated Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The successful candidate will have relevant certification in business administration or experience, knowledge of risk management legislation, and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize, plan and organise work to meet requirements and objectives of the position. Key requirements include proficiency with MS Office suite of applications and a Class C drivers licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Council's insurance portfolio, managing claims and policy renewal, and providing customer service.
- Support the development and implementation of an integrated Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills to key stakeholders and customers.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high levels of productivity.
