Food Systems Researcher

A researcher position is available to work in the THRIVING Food Futures research hub.
The successful applicant will contribute to the co-design of a policy tool called a Nutrient and Environment Profiling Model (NEPM).
Key Responsibilities:- Development of algorithms to identify healthy and/or sustainable foods;
- Testing these algorithms against the subjective judgments of a working group of policymakers;
- Presentation of easily accessible results at project meetings and in reports.
You will hold a PhD in population health or a related field, or have equivalent experience, possess strong quantitative analysis skills, and have experience of working on projects based around healthy and/or sustainable diets.
Based in Oxford as your normal place of work. A pattern of regular remote working with your line manager can be agreed if required.
The role is funded for two years in the first instance.
Selection Criteria:- PhD in population health or a related field;

- Experience of working on projects based around healthy and/or sustainable diets.
