Researcher for Policy Tool Development

We are seeking a researcher to co-design a policy tool called a Nutrient and Environment Profiling Model (NEPM). This tool will support national and local policies aimed at promoting healthy, sustainable diets.
- Development of algorithms to identify nutritious and environmentally friendly food options;
- Testing these algorithms against the subjective judgments of a working group of policymakers;
- Presentation of easily accessible results at project meetings and in reports.
- Holding a PhD in population health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills, with expertise in data-driven decision making.
- Experience working on projects centered around healthy and sustainable diets, with a focus on policy development.
- Based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Oxford University.
- Able to work regularly from home if required, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
