This role offers a chance to join one of the most talented engineering teams in Australia, working on large-scale multi-discipline projects. You will be involved in design and planning activities for maritime facilities across various industries.

Working within our National Maritime Team, you will gain valuable experience and exposure to different sectors, including defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability. This will allow you to develop your skills rapidly and contribute to the delivery of complex projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage their existing coastal engineering experience, whether that be modeling, dredging, or coastal protection, to deliver everything from concept designs through to construction phase support. There will also be opportunities to grow leadership and business development skills as you assist with project management and proposal tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Work with coastal modeling software, such as DELFT-3D, SWAN, or MIKE.
  • Collaborate with local governments, port clients, and the Defence sector.
  • Familiarize yourself with Australian design codes and guidelines.
  • Work towards Chartered Professional Engineer credentials.
  • Deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
