Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Handyperson to join our Engineering team at W Brisbane.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication protocols.
  • Undertake various tasks such as painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of work areas.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, and other guestroom items.
  • Program TVs and carry out general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
  • Adhere to the Lockout/Tagout system when performing maintenance work and undertake repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, as well as external sprinkler systems.
