We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team in Sandgate. As a Maintenance Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our residential aged care facility.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the facilities, equipment, and grounds to the highest standard. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime and ensure resident safety.

You will work closely with our team to achieve our goals and provide exceptional service to our residents. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering quality outcomes, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain plant, equipment, buildings, and services to the highest standard.
  • Ensure up-to-date records of all chemicals in use and compliance with relevant safety and best practices.
  • Maintain the grounds in a neat and tidy manner.
  • Identify preventative maintenance requirements, complete works, and document schedules.
  • Evaluate and implement corrective and preventative maintenance actions within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in maintenance or a related field (handyman skills preferred).
  • Knowledge of gardening equipment and maintenance of grounds.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
