Our Opportunity

  • You will lead the procurement of on-trend apparel products, aligning with our customer's needs and driving business results.
  • Working closely with the product development team, you'll ensure that our products meet high quality and fit standards.
  • With your agility and organizational skills, you'll manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships with suppliers, and negotiate the best prices.
  • You'll also mentor and develop our Buying Assistant, fostering high performance and business outcomes.
  • Your day-to-day tasks will include buying merchandise, ensuring budgeted sales results, gross profit targets, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • You'll review and sign off on all development and PP samples, redesign overseas products and trends, and brief supplier bases clearly when requesting samples.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A fashion/merchandising diploma or business/commerce degree
  • Previous experience as a designer, fashion buyer, or product developer
  • An understanding of buying and planning principles
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Proven direct sourcing experience
  • Solid commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial management, including assortment planning and OTB management
  • A solid understanding of local and international trends
