Future System Studies Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Future System Studies team, responsible for analyzing emerging power system phenomena and new technology capabilities.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in large power system operation and planning, as well as experience in building and managing high-performing teams in complex technical environments.

As part of this role, you will develop and maintain power system study capability, tools, models, and future state cases for technical investigations. You will also lead the specification of technical requirements from emerging technologies and deliver a program of planning studies to prepare for future system transition points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of emerging power system phenomena and new technology capabilities.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification (e.g., engineering).
  • Deep expertise in large power system operation and planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams in complex technical environments.
