Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Operations Planning team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex computer-based network analysis to identify issues/violations on the interconnected National Electricity Market (NEM).
  • Assess planned network outages in the short term (ST) timeframe and over multiple regions to identify and determine any corrective action required for identified system security and reliability issues.
  • Provide key analytical and technical input related to the preparation of operational analysis, advice, and instructions to key stakeholders.
  • Review the provision of short-term reserve assessment to ensure timely publication of relevant accurate information.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent discipline.
  • Proficient use of programming languages, analytical software packages, and Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Understanding of power systems with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve technical problems.
  • Competency in the use of network analysis tools.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
