The Infrastructure Operations team supports the rapidly growing business and customers 24/7. We are committed to maintaining physical infrastructure, upholding standards for safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.

The Data Center Engineering Operations Trainee will handle Data Center Engineering Operations, including risk management, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.

Reporting responsibilities include sustaining availability, managing costs, assessing and mitigating risks, reviewing maintenance activities, and reporting metrics.

This role contributes to delivering high safety and security standards while providing extensive capacity at minimal cost within an inclusive culture that fosters innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with contractor management, ensuring compliance with procedures and legislation.
  2. Maintaining performance benchmarks, analyzing data, and preparing reports on infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  3. Generating Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
  4. Contributing to documentation related to business and facility operations.
  5. Supporting rack installation and power/cooling provisioning within constraints.
  6. Participating in routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems.
  7. Learning about design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities.
  8. Assisting with facility asset management and inventory control.
  9. Participating in construction and operational meetings as needed.
  10. Supporting Work Order compliance and reviewing contractual SLAs.
  11. Interfacing with Infra Ops teams for daily operational needs.
  12. Assisting in resolving infrastructure engineering or service issues.
  13. Delivering exceptional customer service.
  14. Meeting operational hours, shift, and on-call requirements during rotations.
