Job Title: Senior Risk Insights Specialist
">The role of the Senior Risk Insights Specialist is to provide strategic and timely credit risk insights and reporting across multiple portfolios. This includes Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Institutional Banking.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Develop actionable risk management insights and reports to inform commercial decisions.
- Monitor bad debt provisioning, regulatory capital actuals, and forecasts.
- Design and build data-driven dashboards, reports, and papers using expert knowledge and collaboration with the Data Integration team.
- Ensure credit risk reporting aligns with divisional key risks and risk appetite statements.
- Accountable for accurate financials in statutory statements.
- Establish analysis and reporting standards, adhering to guidelines such as AASB 9.
- Deliver credit risk analysis and reporting to meet stakeholder needs, including senior management, the board, market, and regulatory pillar, and credit-related APRA returns.
- Implement quality control processes and improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
">- Strong credit risk background with 5+ years of hands-on risk analytics and optimization experience.
- Reasonable exposure to consumer credit portfolio is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in statistics, finance, engineering, or related fields.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
- Experience in regulatory reporting, change management, or projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SAS programming, SQL, and Tableau.
