Facilities Caretaker Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Caretaker to manage the upkeep of our community's gardens, grounds, and facilities.

About the Role

  • Manage and enhance our outdoor spaces, including gardens, grounds, and recreational facilities.
  • Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring our community remains safe and well-maintained.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations.
  • Develop strong relationships with homeowners and contribute to a positive community atmosphere.
  • Participate in caretaker meetings and complete relevant reporting as required.

About You

  • Skilled in gardening, general maintenance, and amenity cleaning, with a background in caretaking or maintenance within retirement/lifestyle communities, schools, parks, or hotel/resorts.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people, with basic computer skills and current First Aid certification (refresher available).
  • Holder of an ACDC licence for weed spraying (or willing to obtain with support) and a full driver's licence with own transport to/from work.
