Job Description

Maintaining grounds and outdoor spaces requires a unique blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our gardens, lawns, and playing fields are well-manicured and safe for use.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a range of specialized equipment and machinery for lawn care and turf management.
  • Supervise and train staff members in grounds maintenance procedures.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in maintaining gardens, lawns, and playing surfaces.
  • Knowledge of operating and maintaining pumps, irrigation systems, and drainage equipment.
  • Able to work safely with chemicals and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III qualification in horticulture or a related field.
  • Current certification in first aid and WHS (Workplace Health and Safety).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
