About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Wholesale and Institutional Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with key accounts and financial intermediaries.

You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential investors in the Wholesale and Institutional space, supporting our BDMs by preparing for meetings, managing follow-ups, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential investors in the Wholesale and Institutional space.
  • Support our BDMs by preparing for meetings, managing follow-ups, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Create impactful materials such as pitch decks, investment proposals, and client presentations that leave an impression.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Manage Salesforce records, client data requests, and internal sales reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring sales strategies to life.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives that help increase funds under management (FUM).
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the finance and investment industry. Your tertiary qualification in Finance/Investments will give you a solid foundation, and your experience in business development and sales will enable you to drive results.

You will be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues, while your organisational skills will keep you on top of multiple tasks and deadlines.
